A smorgasbord of thoughts and things
A smorgasbord of thoughts and things
My haiku for you, inspired by words given to me by a dear friend who encouraged me to use them in my writing in some way.
What thoughts and emotions are evoked when observing tiny icicles clinging steadfastly to a branch? A Random Treasure.
A cinquain for you on Friendship Day. But then again, every day is friendship day. Share the love.
My haiku for you. Haiku: a Japanese poem, 17 syllables in 3 lines of 5, 7 and 5 that is evocative and expressive, simple and beautiful.
A poem to remind us to be in the moment. To not just look, but to see. “Beside the sidewalk for all to see, Knotted and weathered, the smiling tree…”
I’ve become interested in writing haikus and cinquains and pairing them up with some of my photos. Pure pleasure to write, and hopefully for you to enjoy.
